That iconic poster image – the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie. I still remember, as a kid, seeing it on the wall of our local movie theater for the first time. It was electric. These characters – in live action.

For their Call of Duty debut, we wanted to create that same ‘HOLY SHIT!’ moment of a beloved world & characters crossing over into a new arena. So we open with that very arena: Warzone.

At first, everything looks and sounds as we’d expect …but then a few quick one-liners rise up from somewhere below … And then a peek – just a glimpse – at those multicolored masks, peeking out from the shadows...

With fantastic work from our CG partners Dave Weinstein and Altered FX, produced by Bailey Lawrence, mixed by Trevor Bresaw, graphics/titles by Jason Landrian & Spencer King.

These character models look fantastic(!!), and they took a little extra time and attention for the studio to get right. As a result of the delay, our Marketing Creative team ended up having to scrap the original ‘narrative’ approach to the trailer. (…Not an uncommon thing in the world of video game capture! If you know you know.)

Fortunately – I've got my own crack team of ninjas who rolled up their sleeves and got to cooking – and we turned what could have been a disaster into a dazzling showcase of capture, editing, sound design, and motion graphics.
